On the morning of August 24, Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company was awarded a certificate by the Vietnam Record Organization for establishing a record for a pair of baked and sticky rice mooncakes. These are two traditional types of cakes in every Mid-Autumn Festival of the Vietnamese people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Thang Van Phuc \u2013 President of the Vietnam Records Association (person in the middle) personally visited the process of making the record-breaking cakes.<\/em><\/p>\n

Each finished cake has a diameter of 0.95m, a thickness of 0.2m, and weighs 150kg, made entirely using traditional manual methods.<\/em><\/p>\n

The pair of baked and sticky rice mooncakes were offered to incense the Ancestors at Ngoc Son Temple.<\/em><\/p>\n

Afterward, a procession ceremony of the traditional pair of mooncakes with a total weight of 300kg took place at the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ly Thai To monument (Hanoi City) to serve tourists and the public, especially to leave an unforgettable impression in the memories of the children participating in this event.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mr. Hoang Thai Tuan Anh \u2013 Representative of the Vietnam Record Organization announced the decision to establish the Record for the pair of cakes.<\/em><\/p>\n

To make this pair of cakes, Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company took more than 2 months to prepare from the wooden molds, bases, to the ingredients and implementation, with the participation of more than 20 artisans with more than 20 years of experience in the profession of the Company. The ingredients for making the cakes are all traditional ingredients such as: lotus seeds, pumpkin seeds, mung beans, melon, sesame, Chinese sausage...<\/p>\n

The Record certificate for the pair of cakes was awarded to the leaders of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company.<\/em><\/p>\n

 Ms. Ngo Thi Tinh \u2013 General Director of Bao Minh Confectionery Company said that the entire spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival is expressed in traditional baked and sticky rice mooncakes: \u201cWe always want to bring a sweet world through each cake\u201d. She added that the pair of cakes was made with the desire to become a highlight for the full moon night, to leave an impression on guests, to convey a message of love, family connection, and to bring the flavor of traditional cakes, human values, images, traditional cake flavors, and the quintessence of the nation through each Bao Minh product to all five continents.<\/p>\n

With a humanitarian spirit, at the program, the company also established the Bao Minh charity fund to contribute to bringing warm reunion Tet holidays to those who are lonely and in difficult circumstances in life. The pair of mooncakes was then used for charitable purposes, while also giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the taste of traditional cakes.<\/span><\/p>\n
