Honoring the record-breaking 300kg pair of mooncakes<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the morning of August 24, at the walking street around Ho Guom and the Ly Thai To statue, a procession ceremony was held for the giant traditional pair of mooncakes with a total weight of 300kg. The pair was established as the record-breaking traditional mooncake pair of Vietnam in 2019.<\/p>\n

The giant pair of mooncakes, displayed at the Ly Thai To statue square, attracted thousands of domestic and international visitors to admire and take souvenir photos.<\/em><\/p>\n

Accordingly, to create this giant pair, Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company spent over 2 months preparing from the wooden molds and bases to the ingredients, and it took one day to \u201cconstruct\u201d the cakes, with the participation of more than 20 artisans from Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company, who have more than 20 years of experience in the profession. Each cake is 0.95m in diameter, 0.2m thick, and weighs 150kg (totaling 300kg for the pair).<\/p>\n

It is known that the ingredients for the cakes are all traditional materials such as: lotus seeds, pumpkin seeds, mung beans, winter melon, sesame, Chinese sausage...<\/p>\n

The Central Vietnam Record Organization presented the certificate of record for the largest pair of mooncakes in Vietnam in 2019 to Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company.<\/em><\/p>\n

The largest pair of baked and soft mooncakes in Vietnam was offered to the Ancestor at Ngoc Son Temple, then processed to the Square for public viewing. This was the highlight of the 2019 Mid-Autumn Festival.<\/p>\n

The giant pair of mooncakes will become a highlight for the full moon night, leaving an impression on guests, conveying a message of love, family bonding, and bringing the image of Vietnamese cuisine to all five continents.<\/p>\n

At this event, Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company distributed over 5,000 leaflets printed with images of the giant cake pair, their dimensions, and weight. Especially, a very unique poem consisting of 8 stanzas was included, talking about the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the giant cakes, and the dedication the artisans put into this pair.<\/p>\n

The event was elaborately and solemnly decorated by Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company and was joyfully attended by many high-level guests.<\/em><\/p>\n

It is known that the giant pair of mooncakes will be used for charitable purposes, bringing guests the opportunity to enjoy the traditional taste of the cakes and admire the largest cake in Vietnam right at the event.<\/p>\n

In particular, the giant pair of mooncakes will be a special mark left in the memories of the children participating in this event. This is also an opportunity for everyone to admire and check in with the largest pair of mooncakes in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Especially, through this event, the Bao Minh Charity Fund will bring a more fulfilling Mid-Autumn reunion to those with difficult lives.<\/p>\n

With the desire to bring a traditional folk atmosphere of the full moon night to the \u201cheart of Hanoi\u201d, the company will organize the \u201cHonoring Ceremony for Vietnam's record mooncakes\u201d program to immerse everyone in the atmosphere of the full moon night\u201d<\/em>, Ms. Tinh said.<\/p>\n

The exhibition of the giant pair of mooncakes is expected to take place for 2 days, August 24 and 25, 2019, with many vibrant performances and very interesting, unique folk games.<\/p>\n

It is known that the Central Vietnam Record Organization has awarded the certificate of record for the largest pair of mooncakes in Vietnam (VietKings) in 2019.<\/p>\n
