Legend has it that the love triangle between Son Tinh, Thuy Tinh, and Princess My Nuong caused a cataclysmic war, leaving the people and all living things in misery. The mountain god, Son Tinh, won the battle and was able to marry the beautiful Princess My Nuong. Son Tinh and My Nuong, with their love for the people, could not help but feel distressed that their romance had caused such suffering. They happened to discover a variety of young sticky rice with a fragrant, fresh aroma like a mother's milk born for her child.<\/p>\n

\nSon Tinh Thuy Tinh is a legendary story about the battle between the Mountain God \u2013 Son Tinh and the Water God \u2013 Thuy Tinh<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

 Having lived with Mother Earth since birth, Son Tinh was very knowledgeable about agriculture. He taught the people how to raise livestock, farm, and take care of this new rice variety. Because of this, from a region devastated by natural disasters, the people became prosperous, and the country gradually flourished.<\/p>\n

    It was here that the wonderful marks of love between the powerful Mountain God Son Tinh and the beautiful Princess My Nuong were recorded. To repay the sincerity of the talented couple, the people in this region gathered the young sticky rice grains still containing fresh, fragrant milk and made a cake with a light green color, chewy, fragrant, and pure, called Com Cake to offer to them as a token of deep gratitude.
