Entry and exit from the company are also strictly controlled, ensuring that disinfection before entering the company is fully implemented, not neglected or just for show. In addition, for the company's canteen, Bao Minh has added measures to ensure safety when processing food such as: always wearing gloves; regularly cleaning and disinfecting food processing areas; washing hands with alcohol-based solutions; ensuring nutrition in meals to increase resistance during the epidemic season.
The company has planned to allow employees to work from home in necessary cases, depending on developments and directives from functional agencies; and limits business trips to other provinces or other countries if not strictly necessary.
Regular disinfection of the company ensures a safe environment during the epidemic season
At all offices and factories, Bao Minh has provided masks and antiseptic hand sanitizer. Notices and instructions on how to prevent, control and raise awareness of protecting personal, family and social health are regularly implemented on all internal communication channels of the company.
Mr. Mac Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), shared: “When the epidemic broke out, the revenue of SMEs decreased, especially in the market, because foreign markets limited imports, and in the domestic market, people tightened spending, so the volume of goods sold was not high”.
“For niche markets, many businesses are focusing on producing products that suit Vietnamese tastes. Because currently we are in the golden population period, many people prefer to use Vietnamese products. In particular, there are campaigns “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods”, “Vietnamese goods conquer Vietnamese people”. These are campaigns that manufacturing businesses are finding ways to exploit thoroughly. By doing this, the business community will certainly be more stable in the near future”
The acute pneumonia epidemic caused by the Corona virus strain has caused the consumer market to shrink, and revenue in the service, tourism, and aviation sectors has declined, creating a “shock” to the economy. In which, Bao Minh is also looking for a new direction, suitable for the business to continue to develop.
According to Ms. Ngo Thi Tinh – General Director of the company, with the unpredictable developments of this pandemic, the business has also been significantly affected, however, the immediate difficulties have opened up another direction for the company, “this door closes, another door opens”, hoping to bring better opportunities for the business.
Covid-19 is a global pandemic, its developments are increasingly complex and dangerous, and it is unknown when it will end. In that context, economic experts recommend, in parallel with efforts to prevent and control the epidemic to protect human health. Bao Minh has always closely followed information from functional agencies to proactively plan production and business, maintaining growth momentum. At the same time, it is necessary to have plans and strategies to expand the search for partners and customers, avoiding too much dependence on one market.
