On the afternoon of October 10, Bac Tu Liem district organized a meeting and honored typical enterprises and entrepreneurs in 2023 on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day, October 13.
As of the end of September 2023, Bac Tu Liem district has 8,223 operating enterprises, an increase of 1,008 enterprises compared to 2022, focusing on the following sectors: Production of finished metal products, non-metallic minerals, food processing, trade in machinery and equipment, wood, construction materials... In which, the number of enterprises operating in the industrial - construction sector accounts for 28.8%, trade - service accounts for 70.6%, agriculture accounts for 0.6%. In addition, there are more than 10,000 business households in the district.
In the first 9 months of 2023, enterprises paid taxes of over 876 billion VND. In 2022-2023, enterprises contributed about 2,379 billion VND to the budget. In 3 years (2019-2021), organizations, individuals, and enterprises supported the district's epidemic prevention and control work with a total amount of over 13 billion VND and many other essential items.
From the above funding sources, the district and wards have supported epidemic prevention and control work; supported people, workers, and civil servants affected by the Covid-19 pandemic with an amount of 8.8 billion VND.
The district creates a healthy and safe environment for enterprises to do business in accordance with the law. Organize dialogue conferences with enterprises in the area; promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles for enterprises and report and propose to the city contents beyond the authority of the district...
On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Tu Liem district awarded 19 typical enterprises and 9 typical entrepreneurs who have achieved excellent results in production and business activities, contributing to promoting economic growth,
