Steps to practice
Wash the brown rice
Wash the brown rice clean 2 times with water, then drain and leave to dry.
Roast the brown rice
Place a pan on the stove, add all the prepared brown rice to the pan. Then stir evenly for the first 4 minutes over high heat.
Then lower the heat and roast for another 5 minutes until the brown rice is dry, then turn off the stove.
Put the roasted dry brown rice into a bowl and let it cool.
Cook the malt
Place a pan on the stove, then add 100ml of filtered water to the pan. Turn on medium heat and boil for about 2 minutes.
Then add 80gr of malt sugar, 150gr of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of corn syrup.
Lower the heat, stir evenly while cooking for 8 – 10 minutes until the ingredients are completely dissolved and the mixture boils, turning to a standard cockroach-wing brown color, then turn off the stove.
Make sesame brown rice candy
After the malt is cooked, add the roasted brown rice, stir evenly until the malt coats the brown rice grains evenly, then turn off the stove.
Continue to add to the pan, 100gr of roasted sesame and 100gr of peanuts, mix well for about 2 minutes until the peanuts and roasted sesame are evenly incorporated into the brown rice and malt mixture.
Cut the candy
After all the ingredients are mixed together, put the candy mixture into a mold, use a piece of nylon to press evenly and spread it flat so that the candy surface is firm.

When the candy cools and becomes slightly hard, cut the candy into bite-sized pieces. Just like that, it is ready to enjoy!
