At the reception, the Vietnamese Buddhist Cultural Center in South Korea and the Vietnamese Buddhist Association in South Korea donated 10,000 face masks and 200 packages of confectionery to support officers and soldiers fighting the Covid-19 pandemic at the Southwestern border.
Nun Thich Nu Gioi Tanh, Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Buddhist Association in South Korea, shared that given the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially the hardships of officers and soldiers guarding the border day and night, the children of Vietnam living far away in the Vietnamese Buddhist Association in South Korea always look towards their homeland and wish to contribute their efforts to help the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front have more resources to overcome the difficulties of the pandemic.


The nun also added: “Responding to the call “All people participate in supporting the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic” of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Association has organized delegations to visit and give gifts at quarantine areas in Vietnam with an amount of over 4 billion VND; at the same time, mobilized the community to join hands to support compatriots in Central provinces affected by natural disasters and floods with an amount of over 180 million VND. Hope the Front will always be a trusted fulcrum for our overseas compatriots to look towards.'.

At the reception, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien recognized and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the Vietnamese Buddhist Association in South Korea over the past time, as they have always made efforts to help overseas compatriots in the host country and have made many valuable and practical contributions and support, both materially and spiritually, with the desire that the country will soon overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters, floods, and epidemics.
The Chairman also hopes that in the coming time, promoting the spirit of great solidarity, Vietnamese people in South Korea in particular and around the world in general will continue to work together to overcome the difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic, support each other in economic development, soon stabilize production and business, and always look towards the homeland with all their affection and responsibility.

“The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will always be a place to connect the spirit of great solidarity and preserve the cultural identity of Vietnamese people and our compatriots abroad,” Chairman Do Van Chien shared.
On this occasion, through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnamese Buddhist Cultural Center in South Korea and the Vietnamese Buddhist Association in South Korea also donated 2,000 cans of Ngoc Linh ginseng drink to support the officers and soldiers in Truong Sa.
