Following the directive of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam at the National Steering Committee meeting on Covid-19 prevention and control on the afternoon of June 11, “Strive to complete the vaccination against COVID-19 for workers and laborers at high risk in July 2021; complete the vaccination for all workers in industrial zones nationwide by August 2021”, Bac Tu Liem District organized Covid-19 vaccinations for the group of employees and workers at Nam Thang Long Industrial Zone and Tu Liem Small and Medium Industrial Zone in 2021 at 03 locations (Tu Liem Small and Medium Industrial Zone, Thuy Phuong Secondary School, and Phuc Dien Ward Health Center).
As one of the companies headquartered in Nam Thang Long Industrial Zone, Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company, following the directives of the Government and the People's Committee of Bac Tu Liem District, has compiled a list of employees for the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Ms. Ngo Thi Tinh – General Director of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company shared: “Over the past two days, we at Bao Minh have received the Covid-19 vaccine. With awareness and responsibility, we have completed the task. Thank you to the People's Committee of Bac Tu Liem District and Thuy Phuong Ward for their care, assistance, and facilitation, which helped us fulfill this duty and obligation to join hands with the community in pushing back the Covid pandemic”.
The vaccination session was carried out strictly in accordance with the guidelines in Official Dispatch No. 1734/BYT-DP dated March 7, 2021, of the Ministry of Health on organizing COVID-19 vaccination and Official Dispatch No. 980/VVSDTTU dated June 18, 2021, regarding notes on organizing COVID-19 vaccination in industrial zones.
The vaccination sites ensured compliance with regulations on COVID-19 prevention. Vaccination recipients were scheduled by time slots, avoiding large gatherings, ensuring a minimum distance of 2m between areas, and performing no more than 50 vaccinations per injection line per session.
According to information from the Bac Tu Liem District Health Center, this vaccination round had 01 case of mild reaction after injection at the mobile vaccination site at Thuy Phuong Secondary School; the case was promptly handled by medical staff and transferred to Nam Thang Long Hospital, and their health is currently stable.
