In early October, Storm No. 11 – Matmo made landfall in the North and Midlands, leaving behind heavy damage: houses swept away, schools damaged, and residents“ lives disrupted by floods. In response, Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company quickly coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and businesses in Nam Thang Long Industrial Park to organize the charity program ”Towards the Flood-Stricken Region – Joining Hands to Share Love'.
On October 19, the delegation of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company, represented by Chairman of the Board of Directors Vuong Duy Kiem and accompanying organizing units, directly visited and donated 200 million VND and essential supplies to Duong Tu Minh High School and Dong Hy High School – two schools heavily affected by the storm in Thai Nguyen province.
The gifts, including cakes, milk, drinking water, school supplies, and essential daily living items, were thoughtfully prepared, demonstrating a spirit of sharing and encouraging teachers and students to stabilize their lives soon and continue to teach and learn well.
