Developing a green energy usage model for facilities according to Hanoi city's 2021 criteria is one of the important tasks in implementing the 2021 energy saving and efficiency program in the city.
In 2021, the program to evaluate and recognize the Green Energy Usage Facility title attracted 90 participating units.
Based on scoring and ranking from high to low, the Evaluation Council proposed recognizing 41 facilities that achieved the green energy title according to city criteria, including Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company.
As one of the traditional confectionery manufacturing businesses in Hanoi, Bao Minh always performs well in movements launched by the Central level. Bao Minh has applied the green energy usage model effectively, managing energy and using energy sparingly in production. Through the evaluation process, the Department of Industry and Trade awarded Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company the 3-star Green Energy Usage title for facilities using a large amount of energy in industrial production.
Representing the Company, Mr. Vuong Duy Kiem - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company received the Certificate and medal for the 3-star Green Energy Usage title granted by the Department of Industry and Trade.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Lan - Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, businesses have implemented a series of green energy projects, helping to save billions of dong in costs as well as reducing CO2 emissions by tens of thousands of tons into the environment. In addition to honoring facilities and businesses that use green energy, Hanoi also expects to popularize and replicate typical energy-saving solutions for facilities with similar models to apply, helping to promote energy management and efficient use, and improve the city's energy usage efficiency.
According to the Organizing Committee, facilities that achieve the title will be considered for technical support to improve energy usage efficiency to upgrade the title recognition, and consulted to participate in energy efficiency competitions at the national level and even higher at the ASEAN regional level./.
