Given the increasingly complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam, Bac Giang is one of the provinces heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Especially in industrial zones, affecting the employment and lives of tens of thousands of workers.
With the tradition of solidarity and mutual affection, on May 24, the Board of General Directors and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company called on all Bao Minh employees to join hands and support the people of Bac Giang in fighting the pandemic.
The support and cooperation of every Bao Minh employee contribute to helping the people of Bac Giang have more motivation to overcome difficult times, helping Bac Giang have more resources to support people in pandemic-hit areas and frontline forces fighting the pandemic.
And after 5 days of launching the movement, Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company has received many kind hearts from a large number of employees. On behalf of the company, CEO Ngo Thi Tinh transferred the contributed money to the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, authorizing the Association to join hands with the Association to support the people of Bac Giang in fighting the pandemic.
On June 4, 2021, Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company, Minh Tran Trading and Service Co., Ltd., together with Buddhist monks and followers of Nguyen Khong Zen Monastery - Thong Nhat District - Dong Nai Province joined hands with Ha Dong District Youth Union, Youth Union of Hanoi City Agencies Bloc, Youth Union of Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones to give support gifts as essential goods to frontline forces fighting Covid, people and workers in Bac Giang province.”
Previously, on May 29, the Prime Minister called on all citizens and businesses to donate money to build the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund. The goal in 2021 is to have 150 million vaccine doses to ensure 75% of the population achieves herd immunity and brings life back to normal.
Responding to the Prime Minister's call, on June 3, the Board of Directors of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company launched a movement to contribute to building the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund in a spirit of self-discipline and responsibility to the community.

The activity of contributing to building the Vaccine Fund was enthusiastically responded to by Bao Minh employees. As of now, the amount contributed by Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company to build the Fund is 58,050,000 VND.
In the coming time, employees will continue to contribute and participate in building the Covid-19 vaccine fund to contribute to building a strong Fund, so that Vietnam can soon achieve the goal of 150 million vaccine doses in 2021.
