The treasure trove of knowledge in this universe is infinite, and educators play the role of a bridge between the current generation and the precious knowledge that the ancestors of previous generations have distilled over tens of thousands of years of history. They are likened to “pine trees on the mountainside, flowers in the deep forest, silently spreading fragrance, coloring, and dedicating their entire intelligence and strength to life”.

From time immemorial, the teaching profession has always been the most respected and honored in society.
In every era, from within the teacher's mind, it is always determined that the teaching profession is a noble and sacred one. People in the teaching profession must be standards of morality, have beautiful personalities and souls, and know how to pass on their thoughts, feelings, and knowledge to the generation of students.
If you do a product wrong, you can redo it, if your business plan is not correct, you can also fix the error, but the teaching profession does not allow that. The products created by the teacher are “human beings”, are “the future”, are “human history”, therefore, the teaching profession is never allowed to create faulty “products”, so that those products become useless.

As Professor Nguyen Van Le once cited a thinker's words about the teaching profession: “If a jeweler ruins a piece of gold or silver, he can take it out and re-melt it. If a precious gem is damaged, it can be broken... Ruining a human being is a great crime, a great mistake that can never be redeemed”. Therefore, the teacher's work requires the teacher to be extremely careful, scientific, and extremely serious. Serious from the bright heart to create a great personality, serious from knowledge to create greatness, and serious with oneself to create respectable and noble people.
Although the teacher's contributions are “silent feats”, not published in newspapers, without medals, no one can deny the incomparable merits of these “engineers of the soul” – a profession honored by the whole society, entrusting the entire future generation of the country.

Not published in newspapers, without medals, yet no one can deny the merits of the teachers.
In the history of the Vietnamese nation, many bright examples in the teaching profession have been honored, honoring those with noble character, not tempted by fame or money. The pride of our nation cannot help but mention the image of the first teacher in the 15th century, Ms. Ngo Chi Lan, from Phu Lo, Kim Hoa, Soc Son, who was invited by King Le Thanh Tong to the palace to teach. Teacher Do Nang Te was the teacher of the two Trung Sisters – the first women of the nation to raise the flag of uprising, fighting against the domination of the Northern feudalism. Teachers Chu Van An, Nguyen Binh Khiem, Nguyen Van Sieu, Nguyen Thiep, Le Dinh Dien, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Nguyen Khuyen, Nguyen Sinh Sac... are all typical examples of the shining, standard, talented, straightforward, and upright personality of a teacher, indifferent to fame and fortune.

Our Vietnamese nation is a studious nation, with a beautiful tradition of respecting teachers and respecting the path passed down for thousands of generations.
Our Vietnamese nation is a studious nation, with a beautiful tradition of respecting teachers and respecting the path passed down for thousands of generations. That good tradition is expressed through the achieved results, feelings, respect, love, and expression of gratitude and reverence of students to teachers, summarized in proverbs and idioms throughout the length of history such as: “Without a teacher, you cannot succeed”; “If you want to cross, build a Kieu bridge/If you want your child to know letters, love the teacher”, “One word is a teacher, half a word is a teacher”.
Therefore, Vietnamese Teachers“ Day (or Vietnamese Teachers” Charter Day) is held annually on November 20th, not only as an occasion for the Education Sector to honor the “ferrymen on the river of knowledge”, but also as an occasion for society to show gratitude and express deep thanks to the respected teachers, who have been and continue to perform their noble mission, creating a future generation with enough of the 3 words 'Heart, Talent, Vision'.

Give teachers sweet gifts from Bao Minh instead of words...
During the “festival of Vietnamese teachers”, besides gifts such as: flowers, notebooks, pens, scarves, shirts... that we still often buy for teachers every year, try changing it up a bit with a handmade item, a light meal that you cooked yourself if you are skillful enough, or a box of assorted candies from Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company such as: cha cake, peanut candy, 'che lam' cake, 'pia' cake, green rice cake covered with coconut... sweet, brew a pot of lotus tea, fragrant jasmine tea, sit together and recall the old stories with the teacher, it will certainly be a wonderful and memorable experience in life, instead of the deepest gratitude from the heart to the teachers - the dedicated ferrymen, spending their whole lives taking letters across the river.

... send to the dedicated ferrymen, spending their whole lives to carry letters across the river.
