“Homeland Tet Gala 2024” – A Colorful Evening Party

On the evening of January 22nd, at Ho Guom Opera House (Hanoi), the “Gala Tet Que Huong” program for 2024 took place.

The program was organized by VTC Digital Television, Oscar Media Advertising Joint Stock Company, Economic & Urban Newspaper, and Ethnic & Development Newspaper, bringing a colorful “gala” with many levels of emotion, under the theme: “Tet is the place to return to”.

The art program gathered many famous artists such as: Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh, Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam, Tung Duong, Chuong Gio group, artists from the Youth Theater..., executed by director Mai Thanh Tung, with People's Artist Le Chuc as artistic advisor.

Attending the program, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen presented a flower basket from the City People's Committee, recognizing the efforts of the Organizing Committee in investing and implementing a high-quality and meaningful art program. With the theme “Tet is the place to return to”, the Organizing Committee conveys a message about the journey back to Tet, which can be real journeys on trains and buses, seeing the homeland renewing day by day; it can also be a journey back in the minds of expatriates who always look towards Tet, their homeland, family...

By combining many art forms with diverse modes of expression such as singing, poetic dance sketches, drama, reportage, exchanges..., the stories told in the program have a seamless connection, evoking Tet seasons in warm childhood memories, reflections on hurried Tet holidays in modern life, and appreciation of precious values, sending hopes and wishes for a prosperous new year.

The program will be broadcast at 2 special time slots: 21:00 on the 30th of Tet (February 9th); and 20:00 on the 1st day of the Lunar New Year (February 10th). Specifically, the program broadcast on the evening of the 30th of Tet consists of 3 chapters: Chapter 1 “Spring Scents”; Chapter 2 “Dreaming of Spring - Missing Tet”; Chapter 3 “Reunion Spring - Tet of Gathering”. The program broadcast on the evening of the 1st day of Tet consists of 3 chapters: Chapter 1 “Tet of the Homeland”; Chapter 2 “Seasons of Nostalgic Flowers”; Chapter 3: “Aspiration for Spring”.

Audience can watch the program on the channels of VTC Digital Television; VTC Now platforms; and the platforms of the Economic & Urban Newspaper, Ethnic & Development Newspaper...
