On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Hanoi being honored by UNESCO as a ‘City for Peace’ and the 72nd anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs‘ Day, on July 23, the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations and Tinh Hoa Dat Viet Magazine, in coordination with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, organized a program themed ’Sacred Lac Hong Bloodline'.

Joining the atmosphere of gratitude, paying tribute to traditional culture, and serving as a hub for connecting global cultural values, Bao Minh Confectionery Company contributed a small effort to the successful organization of the program.

Hanoi is not only mentioned by the international press as an exceptionally safe place, attractive to tourists due to its thousand-year-old history with fascinating landscapes, architecture, and rich cultural heritage. In the eyes of international friends, Hanoi is also fragrant bowls of pho, and mooncakes filled with the national soul that one must remember wherever they go.

With the desire for international friends and domestic diners to enjoy traditional flavors in modern life, in addition to gratitude gifts for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and wounded soldiers and martyrs, Bao Minh Confectionery Company also brought cakes and tea for guests to enjoy.

Within the framework of the program, an incense offering ceremony for heroic martyrs took place at the Hoa Lo relic site to commemorate the great sacrifices of our forefathers and predecessors for the peace and independence of the country.

Gifts such as savings books, each worth 5,000,000 VND, and 30 gifts from sponsors are an expression of the Vietnamese tradition of 'when drinking water, remember its source', paying tribute, and 'eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree'. Thereby, it promotes and educates the younger generation about gratitude towards those who contributed to the revolution.

Ms. Ngo Thi Tinh – General Director of Bao Minh Confectionery Company shared: “As a child of Hanoi, a business that started and developed on the land of Thang Long with its rich culture, I am very proud to stand here to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs together. From there, I want to convey to everyone messages about gratitude and happiness stemming from deep within the heart when we are loved and share”.
