The Government has been working with local authorities to promptly strengthen measures to contain, prevent, and push back the pandemic, and to take care of and protect the lives, health, and safety of the people. Specifically:
– From July 9, 2021, in Ho Chi Minh City: Implemented social distancing according to Directive 16 (Complete social isolation: Everyone must stay at home, only go out when necessary, no gathering of more than 2 people outside the workplace, etc.).
– From July 13, 2021, in Hanoi: Suspended all non-essential business services: Restaurants, on-site food and beverage establishments (Only allowed to sell for take-away), hair salons, shampoo parlors, collective exercise activities, and large gatherings in public places...
While the majority of citizens and businesses have high awareness and have joined hands with the Government with the desire to protect the health and lives of the people and develop the economy, there are still many subjective individuals who do not fully understand the danger of the pandemic, making the epidemic prevention work increasingly difficult to control and the consequences increasingly greater than previous outbreaks (Number of new infections on July 12, 2021: 2,367 nationwide, of which 1,764 in HCMC; 29 cases in Hanoi).
Accompanying the Government and the entire population in the work of epidemic prevention and control, right from the first days of the outbreak, the Company's Board of Management immediately established a Covid-19 Pandemic Response Committee to make active and timely decisions and guidance for the Company's employees, such as: Developing epidemic prevention and control plans suitable to the Company's production and business conditions at many times, suitable to the characteristics of each region; joining hands to support people in epidemic areas; contributing to the Government's Vaccine fund; promoting a voluntary blood donation movement among employees; strictly and thoroughly implementing measures to prevent and control the epidemic according to the guidance of the Government, localities, industrial parks, and recently, together with local authorities and Industrial Park Management Boards, organizing vaccinations for the entire Company...
Through the media, we all know that Covid-19 is a threat to those who have not been vaccinated and that getting the Covid-19 vaccine is a safer option. Yet, many of the Company's employees have not understood this. While the Company's Board of Management has tried their best to organize for all employees (about 300 people) to be able to get the vaccine, the number of people who voluntarily registered and have been vaccinated in 4 rounds (in HCMC and Hanoi) is not high, and there are still some employees who have not participated. Faced with the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic looming over the world, across our entire country, right in the industrial park, in every neighborhood, outside every house, next to every loved one of all the Company's employees, our Company's Board of Management is always worried and realizes that we have not fulfilled the responsibilities of a leader, have not had a resolute attitude as well as have not clearly understood the feelings of employees to be able to mobilize all employees to participate in vaccination. This is one of the reasons that motivated me to write these lines to you.

Through these shared lines, I hope that all of us will have a more correct view of the epidemic to raise awareness of strictly complying with the anti-epidemic measures of the Company as well as the Government so that the Company can maintain production and business activities to ensure the lives of the Company's employees.
1. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT LET INFECTION HAPPEN DURING THE 15 GOLDEN DAYS!
Dear employees in the Branch!
The Company's Board of Management realizes: The two-week isolation according to Directive 16 in HCMC is the peak of the epidemic, and functional agencies have been very strictly controlling travel to minimize the risk of spreading the epidemic to workers.
– Maintain production and business: While the Company's produced goods are still being circulated, we must both prevent the epidemic and produce to avoid breaking the supply chain of goods. We are strictly implementing measures to arrange a reasonable working schedule for employees: assigning work in very necessary positions, working remotely, or taking rotational leave. This plan that has been and is being chosen not only contributes to maintaining production and business but also partly helps to stabilize the lives of workers during the epidemic season.
– Temporarily stop production: The Company can partially interrupt production in the Branch and the Northern Factory can increase production to compensate for a part of this lack of goods. However, if you stop working, you cannot return to your hometown due to the Government's social distancing order, and on the other hand, your income will decrease significantly, which negatively affects the lives of your families...
It is for these reasons that the Company's Board of Management has been trying to find every positive measure to ensure jobs and life for your families.
2. DETERMINED TO IMPLEMENT EPIDEMIC PREVENTION AND CONTROL MEASURES!
This is the spirit that employees at the Northern factory are seriously implementing.
From today and in the following weeks, Hanoi is strengthening epidemic prevention and control measures because the awareness of a part of the population and service business establishments has not been implemented strictly, coupled with the risk of spread when people return to the Capital from epidemic-hit areas. Our company is located in an industrial park, where workers are concentrated, so it is even more necessary to tighten Covid-19 safety measures according to the guidance of the health sector, regularly remind and direct employees during and after working hours; continuously monitor and strictly control the travel schedule of employees and partners (Requirement to have Covid-19 test results when necessary)...
Currently, the Northern factory has some advantages over the Branch in terms of epidemic prevention and control measures. The Company's Board of Management places trust in you with the desire to accompany you in fighting the epidemic and encourage colleagues in the Branch to overcome these difficulties.
3. UNDERSTANDING CORRECTLY ABOUT “VACCINE - IMMUNE JOURNEY”!
To achieve herd immunity, every Company employee needs to spread the correct understanding of the Covid-19 vaccine to be able to protect themselves, their families, and their loved ones from the epidemic, thereby reducing the pressure on the health sector. The vaccine is an important tool to help slow the spread of Covid-19, protect health, push back the epidemic, and bring people back to normal life. After vaccination, the body will automatically form antibodies to fight the harmful Corona virus, without fear of being infected from the surrounding environment.
Although the vaccine is safe and effective, it cannot cause Covid-19 for us, however, a person can still contract Covid-19 before or immediately after vaccination, and then get sick because the vaccine has not had enough time to exert its protective ability. Therefore, employees who have been vaccinated still need to strictly implement the 5K message.
