On the afternoon of June 14th, in Dong Da, Hanoi, the forum “Culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – A key element in sustainable ESG development” took place, organized by VBCWE in collaboration with the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) culture is an inevitable trend and a goal that many businesses pursue on the journey of sustainable development. DE&I is the key element associated with the S – Social factor in ESG (Environmental – Social – Governance), where businesses build an equal environment for employees, an environment that makes them proud, confident, and able to be their best selves, regardless of gender, family background, or starting point.
Bao Minh has been focusing and investing heavily in the human element, prioritizing the construction of corporate culture to create an effective, safe, and happy living and working environment. Bao Minh is an active member of VBCWE in implementing assessments and promoting gender equality, contributing to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace – an important foundation for sustainable development.
The assessment project at Bao Minh, conducted in September 2022, covered the period from June 1, 2021, to May 31, 2022. Upon completion, the project yielded many very positive results. The implementation of gender equality in the workplace has helped Bao Minh create a civilized, equal workspace and helped female employees confidently assert themselves in their work.

After the project concluded, Bao Minh achieved clear results in the process of gender equality in the workplace and is honored to be one of the first 3 businesses in Vietnam to receive the gender equality assessment certificate using the GEARS tool.
