Banh Khao – A cake of traditional essence

The rice used to make Banh Khao must be 'nep cai hoa vang' (yellow flower glutinous rice) that is firm, plump, and carefully selected.

Usually, Banh Khao comes in 2 types: with filling and without filling. For Banh Khao with filling, it is usually mung bean filling and mixed filling.
