Participating in the tour were Dr. Tran Thi Hong Viet – Head of Undergraduate Training Department; MSc. Le Van Nam – Director of the Vietnam Entrepreneur Development Center (Institute of Business Administration – National Economics University), Mr. Pham The Hiep – Deputy General Director, and Mr. Nguyen The Dung – Director of Administration & Human Resources of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company.

The practical experience program at Bao Minh is a practical activity for students to have the opportunity to see with their own eyes the production line and the stages of making traditional products. At the same time, it arouses pride in national cuisine and spreads the love for traditional confectionery.
Opening the tour, the EBBA student delegation visited the 5000m2 production factory – where the traditional confectionery products currently available on the market are directly created.

Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company always strictly complies with food safety and hygiene regulations, so all visiting groups are equipped with protective gear: hairnets, uniforms, and new slippers provided by the company.

During the tour, students were introduced to each production line and the stages of making each product. Bao Minh focuses on investing in many modern machines and advanced equipment, maximizing the production process, and supplying a large volume of products to the market every day.





Nguyen Trung Anh (EBBA student) shared: “I have eaten Bao Minh's cakes many times but have never witnessed the production process with my own eyes. Today, experiencing it firsthand at the company, I feel very happy and my eyes have been opened. The production process is very professional and ensures hygiene, so I am very assured and confident in using the products next time.'”.
After touring the factory, the students met and interacted with the company's Board of Directors. This is also an important part of the practical experience session for students to have the opportunity to better understand the Bao Minh company and gain a deeper understanding of traditional products. Through the exchange, Mr. Pham The Hiep – Deputy General Director of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company also answered interesting questions and queries from the students.

Ending the exchange, MSc. Le Van Nam – Director of the Vietnam Entrepreneur Development Center shared: “On behalf of all the lecturers and students of the Institute of Business Administration, I would like to thank the Board of Directors of Bao Minh Company for creating the conditions for the institute's students to be here today. I hope that through the factory tour and the exchange with the company's leadership, students will learn about traditional confectionery and the values in each product. Through this, many people will love traditional confectionery. Loving here means not only liking to eat sweets but also spreading the love for traditional confectionery, so that all Vietnamese people know about it and love it together.”.


The practical experience program at Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company not only helps students have interesting practical experiences but also helps them better understand traditional confectionery products and the essence of Vietnamese cuisine. Thereby, it arouses pride because Vietnam still has places that preserve and promote traditional products, so that the younger generation can still enjoy traditional products that seemed to have been lost by time and the process of industrialization and modernization of the country.
