Bao Minh Organizes Training on Food Safety and Hygiene Knowledge

Food safety and hygiene is always an urgent issue in society, receiving special attention from authorities and consumers. Bao Minh understands that for the food production sector (confectionery), it is essential to have a correct and complete understanding of and strictly comply with food safety and hygiene regulations. Therefore, the Board of Directors of Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company always focuses on training employees and organizing training sessions to provide knowledge to staff about food safety and hygiene.

The training session was attended by lecturer Dr. Dang Thi Thanh Quyen – Center for Biotechnology and Food Safety – Hanoi University of Economics - Technology and Industries and nearly 100 trainees who are officers and workers at Bao Minh Confectionery Joint Stock Company.

The training program consists of 3 parts:

  • Part 1: General knowledge about food safety and hygiene

In this first part, Bao Minh staff learned about food hazards, necessary conditions in production to ensure food safety and hygiene, and regulations for people during the production process to ensure food safety and hygiene, as well as some laws and circulars regarding food safety and hygiene.

  • Part 2: Regulations on production and business establishments to ensure food safety and hygiene
  • Part 3: Guidelines on how to self-declare products

The training program helps Bao Minh staff better understand the importance of food safety and hygiene in production, and how to prevent and stop situations of poor food safety. At the same time, it helps them promptly handle issues that arise during the production process to ensure that the best and safest products are brought to the market for consumers.

After finishing the knowledge training content, Bao Minh staff took a multiple-choice test according to regulation 1390 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. 100% of staff fully understood and grasped the knowledge about food safety and hygiene, and completed the test well.

Ms. Do Thi Tam – Production Department shared: “Although the training session took place in a short time, it provided useful and practical knowledge. We were able to understand more deeply about ensuring food safety and hygiene in production, product selection, and product preservation”.
